Mrs. Thayer,

Thank you for your dedicated service to NWC. While I was at Northwestern, you demonstrated such patience in the class I took from you. Even though we had to be a frustrating group of students, you just seemed to love it. Patti, you could really enjoy the moment. Once my group was talking about drinking, and in a very kind way you shared it was not a very good use of our talents to do that. No preaching, just guiding. When I think of you, it is always with the highest regards. Thank you for making a difference in so many lives. May God bless you as much as you have blessed others.

If Northwestern College had an academic cheerleading squad, Patti would be front and center at every event. Patti devoted her career to encouraging students to believe in their ability and use their gifts from God to reach their full academic potential. Patti was my academic adviser, and I served with her on the Admissions, Retention and Honors Committee at Northwestern. Patti, your humble service will be missed.
